  3. Game Player 2.0 minimum system requirements:
  4.  
  5. 486/66 MHz, or faster, processor.
  6. MS Windows(R) 95 or 3.1
  7. 4 MB RAM.
  8. 3 MB free disk space.
  9. One 3.5" 1.44 MB floppy drive.
  10. SVGA 256 color graphics adapter and monitor.
  11. Mouse.
  12. Sound Card (Optional).

  15. INSTALLATION:
  16. Insert the Game Player disk into the floppy drive.
  17. In Windows 3.1 select Run from the Program Manager's File Menu and type a:\setup, where a: is the letter of your floppy drive.

  19. In Windows 95, go to the Start menu and select Run. Type a:\setup, where a: is the letter of your floppy drive.

  21. Press the Enter key or click OK.
  22. Follow the directions on the screen.

  25. RUNNING Game Player:
  26. In Windows 3.1:
  27. Double click the CDKNet program group in the Program Manager.
  28. Double click the Game Player 2.0 icon in the group.
  29.  
  30. In Windows 95:
  31. Click the Start menu on the Taskbar.
  32. Go to Programs and then go to CDKNet and launch Game Player 2.0 from there.

  35. CONTROLS:
  36. Double click a video thumbnail to play it. Click again to stop it.
  37. Clicking 'Xonix' takes you to the Xonix screen where you can play the game.
  38. Clicking 'Puzzle' takes you to the Puzzle screen where you can solve a puzzle.
  39. You can mute the sound in the games by checking 'Mute'.
  40. Clicking 'Help' brings up this file.
  41. Clicking 'Website' takes you to a Web page associated with the currently selected video. You need to have Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer properly installed on your computer and have Internet access.
  42. Clicking 'Metrotainment' takes you to the Metrotainment Web site.
  43. Clicking 'Quit' exits Game Player.

  45. NOTE: 
  46. Use the left mouse button for all controls.
  47. If you have more than one Game Player video, a scroll bar appears next to the video thumbnail and you can scroll through the list of available videos.
  48. The currently displayed video thumbnail is the selected video which will be used for the games.

  51. SCREEN SAVER:
  52. You can access the Screen Saver Setup in two ways:
  53. By clicking the 'Screen Saver' button in Game Player to bring up the 'Display' screen in Windows 95 or the 'Desktop' screen in Windows 3.1

  55. By launching 'Display' in the Control Panel in Windows 95 or 'Desktop' in the Control Panel in Windows 3.1.

  57. Choose 'Game Player 2.0' from the list of screen savers if it is not already selected.
  58. Click 'Preview' to preview the Screen Saver.
  59. Click 'Settings' to bring up the settings dialog box.
  60. You can mute the screen saver sound if you like.
